Shatter The Silence

STAND: Student Anti-Genocide Coalition is an umbrella organization of over 600 high school and college chapters dedicated to putting an end to genocide, specifically the ongoing genocide in Darfur, Sudan.

STAND: formed out of the rapidly growing student movement to protect Darfur and works to unify this anti-genocide movement under one message by providing students with informational, educational and organizing resources, empowering them through an extensive network of impassioned student activists and advocating for a change in the world’s mentality towards genocide.

Genocide is a, disease, an evil that has haunted man since the beginning of time. Tells of genocide can be found in the old testament of the Bible and in Mesopotamian scrolls.

It’s an evil that has persisted no manner how much man has evolved. Look at the holocaust for example of what evolved and enlightened people can do.

So, how do you stop an evil that has followed man since he walked out of the Stone Age? The answer is love for your fellow man!

Jesus covered it all when he said, “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you . . ." (Jesus quoted by John 13:34)
